Groundwater and water affected by the underground workings will be pumped to Salt Treatment Plant at the Meliadine MIne for Total Suspended Solids (TSS) treatment, trucked to Rankin Inlet, stored in an unheated tank at the Itivia Harbour and discharged into ocean via pipe and diffuser that will be constructed on the shore of Itivia Harbour.
