The City of Iqaluit is in the process of acquiring the right to some of the land in the North 40 Area from the Government of Nunavut. We were ask to produce a Land Use permit application for the area we already use to GN CGS, we submitted our LUP demand to CGS on august 6th, 2019. CGS is requesting that we submit a NPC / NIRB assessment for some of the area, the area are in the Contractor activity map the Area are named K1, K5 and K6. The area needing assessment are the Explosive cache area (K5) that has been screened in 2014 by NIRB for the IIAIP project in Iqaluit, we have not made any change since then and we have ask for a permit renewal every year. The concrete batch plant (K6) that has been in place since 2004 and you can see operational on a 2006 picture in the uploaded document and the granular crushing plant (K1) that has been in place since 2003 and you can see operational on a 2006 picture in the uploaded document These area are used by Kudlik to produce the material needed to do civil work in Iqaluit and we believe that they should be screened together. The Concrete Batch plant and the crushers are in use since 2003-2004.
