The Hamlet of Chesterfield Inlet would like to work on access trail project towards Josephine Lake approx. 35 kilometre SW of Chesterfield Inlet. The Hamlet is conducting access trail, and not winter road access trail but only access trail during summer or fall season for small truck or ATV. The access trail gravel will be used on natural gravel to develop access trail project, and approx. 11,482 tonnes of gravel will be used to develop access trail. The quarry site will not be in new location to haul gravel for access trail.
