Project Description:
During the training season for the Canadian Armed Forces Arctic Training Centre, training units will utilize the facility known as Crystal City and the surrounding area to conduct survival training. The survival training will consist of digging snow caves into the drifts formed on the valley wall and instruction of arctic survival techniques to Canadian Armed Forces personnel. These activities are instructed to aircrew and search and rescue technicians to ensure that they possess the skills to survive in the arctic, if needed. The transport will be done via LOSV and BV-206.
